D.W. West is a writer and scientist living in Brooklyn with her loving partner, scrappy dog, and untold numbers of pet shrimp. She has words in or forthcoming in If There's Anyone Left, Inner Worlds, and Manawaker Studios Flash Fiction podcast and was longlisted in 2023 for the Uncharted Magazine Novel Excerpt Contest for her manuscript, Netweaver. She is currently working on a manuscript about rival students at a terraforming academy.
